2021 FOLSOM LAKE MOUNTED PATROL
trail trials ENTRY

CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19

It is with sadness that the California Conservation of Trails/Folsom Lake SRA Benefit Trail Trials Committee is announcing that we have made the decision to cancel our May 2021 Trail Trials. Unfortunately, with the COVID restrictions in place, our plans were upended...again. This is especially sad because this is the second Trail Trials that COVID has cancelled.

IF YOU HAVE ENTRY FEES IN THE SYSTEM:
You have a choice to make for the entry fee you have submitted:

1.  Apply your funds to enter the this year's Folsom Lake SRA Benefit Poker Ride set for this September 2021.
2.  Use your entry fee as a donation to the California Conservation of Trails, the nonprofit who supports Folsom Lake SRA trails and the Folsom Lake SRA Mounted Patrol.  With the new charitable deductions allowed with the new federal tax stimulus law passed last month, this donation may be tax deductible. We will give you a donation receipt for your taxes.
3.  Ask for a refund. We will refund you the amount you paid, minus the PayPal fee.
Please CLICK HERE to contact our CCT Treasurer, Cathy Bohanan.

Again, we will miss our volunteers, contestants, vendors, and sponsors who support us every year.  We can look forward to the Folsom Lake SRA Benefit Poker Ride in September 2021.

Rare overnight horse camping available beside beautiful Folsom Lake! Professional photographer! State Park fee included!
A TRAIL TRIALS competition consists of 6-8 natural obstacles and situations people might encounter on a trail ride. Riders are judged individually and how well they
negotiate their horse through each obstacle, with an emphasis on calmness and safety. Horses are not judged between the obstacles. Riders of any division can ride together,
families are welcome. Helmets and riding boots are required for junior riders and are strongly recommended for all other riders.
